Anje Banks

LPC, CAADC

At some point in our lives, we all experience challenges that overwhelm our ability to cope and we can benefit from having someone to help us navigate our way through these challenges. I believe therapy is a partnership between the client and the therapist built on trust and mutual respect. Therapy should be a safe, non-judgmental space for self-exploration and reflection.  My goal in therapy is to not only support you as you work toward becoming your best self but also to help you find peace, hope and joy in the journey to get there.

I have been providing therapy since 2009. I have experience doing group and individual counseling for substance use and other addictions in both a residential and outpatient setting.  I have experience providing counseling and advocacy to survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. Other experience includes working with individuals who struggle with anxiety, depression, grief and loss, trauma, addictions, stress, anger management and self-esteem issues. My most recent experience has been managing various counseling programs and clinics. I also provide supervision to limited license counselors.

Very few people emerge out of their families of origin emotionally whole and mature.  My passion is to help individuals become the best version of themselves, both emotionally and spiritually.  My desire for clients is that the therapy process provides them with a safe and nurturing environment to discover their uniqueness and worth, affirming their strengths and giving them skills and tools to respond to the many challenges of life.

I see each of my clients as valuable human beings who have a need for assistance with particular issues. My approach involves developing a professional relationship with each client to the point I can identify a therapeutic method to use in helping them. I conduct mental health and substance use therapy. I am certified as a Substance Abuse Professional (SAP) in order to assist with return to work issues.

I am passionate about helping people and having a role in developing self-determination. Towards this end, as a counselor, I partner with clients as we explore strategies to grow into the best version of themselves through Motivational Interviewing. As a recovery coach, I amplify good choices, provide accountability for poor choices, and help develop critical thinking skills to make informed choices. As a case manager, I work determinedly to help clients overcome obstacles. For example, I connect clients with primary care physicians as well as resources for clothing and food. I unequivocally believe people are more than their worst mistake and that mistakes have potential to become lessons which empower us grow into the best version of ourselves.

Ben Worth

Office Manager

I have been with ACAC since early 2021.  I began as the med assistant for the Suboxone clinic and took over as office manager at the beginning of 2024.  I tend to see God in every area of life, and it has been a privilege to watch him work over the last four years.  I'm a huge fan of everyone who walks through our doors and a reluctant champion of paperwork.

I believe that every person has the potential to flourish. Every person is made up of numerous facets that developed them into who they are. The goal is to address each area and seek growth and to encourage flourishing. In each session the focus is on the individual and the natural skills they possess to achieve their goals as they are equipped with the tools needed to face each area of life.
